The World Executive of the Mizrachi Organization in Jerusalem has sent out a call to all Mizrachi organizations throughout the world proclaiming the month of Nisan as “Mizrachi Month,” coincident with an appeal for funds for the Mizrachi Palestine Fund, it was announced here yesterday.

The appeal is directed to all Mizrachi leaders, rabbis and presidents of orthodox congregations and leading Jews to help the Mizrachi in its present campaign. Every congregation is asked to devote one day during the Passover holidays for an appeal to wards the Mizachi Palestine Fund.

Rabbi Wolf Gold, president of the American Mizrachi Organization, sent copies of this proclamation to all prominent rabbis and Mizrachi workers throughout the country.

Hundreds of congregations in New York and many other Jewish centers have informed the office that they will devote one day during the coming holidays for an appeal for the benefit of the Mizrachi Palestine Fund.

The Mizrachi maintains sixty-three schools in Palestine, where over eight thousand pupils received a thorough Jewish education. Its schools are praised by all leaders of Jewry who have visited Palestine.

Part of the fund will be spent to maintain and organize the Hapoel Ha’Mizrachi, consisting of one thousand organized chalutzim in Palestine who are religiously inclined, and combine Torah and Avodah.

Over thirty thousand young men and women are now being educated in the various preparatory schools throughout the world, maintained by the Mizrachi Organization. All of them are ready to settle in Palestine.
