Under the chairmanship of Rabbi Edward T. Sandrow of Congregation Ahavai Sholom, all Portland Jewish organizations such as B’nai B’rith, Hadassah, Zionist Organization. Jewish Emergency Committee and the synagogues have united to sponsor a series of lectures at the Public Library on world problems confronting the Jew. The lectures will be held on four consecutive Monday evenings in April, beginning with April 9.
