The statue of Julius Ofner, Jewish champion of liberty, which was removed from its places on the orders of the Dollfuss regime, has now been placed once more on its original pedestal, following widespread protests.

Only the figure of a nude sewer at the base of the statue has been removed for reasons of “propriety.”
