A German Jewish artisan named Yassky was ordered to leave the country with his family within a few days, in response to his application to be allowed to remain in the country.

Yassky came from Leipzig eleven months ago, and upon finding employment here as a painter, decided to apply for registration as an immigrant. But the official reply from the Department of Immigration was that he could not stay and must leave as soon as possible.
