Further steps in the $40,000 drive for the settlement of German Jewish children in Palestine, now being conducted by the Council of Jewish Organizations, will be considered at a meeting of the Council committee of 200 this Sunday at the Hotel Pennsylvania. The committee consists of officers of virtually every fraternal association in this city.

Judge Jonah J. Goldstein, chairman of the Manhattan division of the American Palestine Campaign, and honorary president of the Council, will be guest speaker.

The Council, which was one of the sponsors of the concert at Carnegie Hall last Sunday in honor of Professor Albert Einstein, in a statement yesterday declared, “There are numerous Jewish organizations in New York City which have not yet had an opportunity to contribute their share to the fund we are raising for the settlement of German Jewish children in Palestine. Our meeting on Sunday is intended to devise ways and means whereby single organizations may, as a body, take part in our work.”
