Fifteen hundred men, women and children crowded the Eastside High Schol auditorium tonight for one of the most remarkable children’s demonstrations produced in this section.

It was a miniature “Romance of the People.” depicting the struggle of Jewry for existence, and ending with a dream of future happiness and security in Palestine. 250 children, ranging from the ages of four to sixteen, took part. The pageant was sponsored by the Reuben Kaufman Post No. 36 and the Ladies auxiliary.

The enthusiastic audience found favor with the production and applauded continuously. The children, although young, carried their parts out well and presented a capable show.
