Prominent men and women in all walks of life from all over the country will attend the twenty-seventh anniversary celebration of the National Home for Jewish Children at Denver next Sunday and Monday at the Hotel Commodore, New York.
Donald Flamm, pioneer in the radio field and nationally known radio executive, is chairman of the dinner. The dinner will commemorate the Home’s twenty-seventh year of service to the children of tubercular poor.
Justice Mitchell May, Justice Aaron Steuer of the Supreme Court of New York, and former Congressman William W. Cohen are honorary chairmen.
Harry Hershfield will be master of ceremonies. The dais at the dinner will be a veritable roster of “Who’s Who” names in the worlds of entertainment, social service and law; Mayor LaGuardia; Harry Hershfield; Fannie Hurst; Justices Mitchell May and Aaron Steuer; Judge Gustave Hartman; Dr. Christian Reisner; Rabbi Ernest R. Trattner; Irving Ben Cooper; Tom Noonan; I. J. Fox; Mrs. Fannie E. Lorber, president of the Home; Dr. Bernard M. Weinberger; Congressman W. W. Cohen; William Weisman; George Storer, and Max D. Steuer.
