Polish Jewry, regardless of its own economic situation, has emulated the example of the United Jewish Appeal in this country, by launching a campaign for the relief of the Jews of Germany, and for the settlement of Jews in Palestine, it was announced by the joint appeal executive yesterday.

Poland is not the only other country besides the United States where campaigns are either under way or about to be launched for the same purposes as the $3,000,000 United Jewish Appeal. A scrutiny of the press of these countries, reveals that the Jews of England, Lithuania, Latvia, Esthonia, Rumania, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Jugoslavia, Holland, Belgium, Turkey, Brazil, Australia, South Africa and the Argentine are swinging into action along the same lines.
