Tel Aviv Without Kosher Meat As Butchers Strike

The Jews of this city have been without kosher meat for the last two days as a result of a strike of the butchers as a protest against the slaughtering tax imposed recently by the municipal council.

City authorities refuse to negotiate with the butchers until the strike is called off, declaring that they will not be intimidated.
