Dr. Cyrus Adler, president of the Jewish Theological Seminary of New York and head of Dropsie College, Philadelphia, will be the guest of honor and Principal speaker at the celebration next Sunday of the seventy-fifth anniversary of Temple Mishkan Tefila.
Noted figures in civic, philanthropic, education and religious fields are expected to participate in the event. Speakers will include prominent New England rabbis, heads of leading institutions, and the Mayor of Boston.
Rabbi H. H. Rubenovitz and Elihu D. Stone, president of the Tefila Congregation, head the celebration committee. The musical program will be directed by Professor S. Braslavsky, musical director of the Temple, assisted by the Temple choir and Cantor I. G. Glickstein. A reception and dinner will be given Dr. Adler following the exercises.
