Joseph Prensky Dies in Brooklyn

Joseph Prensky, active in mans Jewish charitable and education in stitutions in Brooklyn, died yesterday morning at 9:30 o’clock at the age of seventy-three, following a prolonged illness, at his home, 1445 Union street.

Funeral services will be held this morning at ten o’clock from the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern parkway. Survivors include the widow, two sons and four daughters.

Mr. Prensky was an honorary trustee of the Brooklyn Jewish Center, director of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities founder and director of Beth Moses Hospital and honorary director of the Home and Hospital for the Aged.

He also served as executive member of the Eastern Parkway Zionist District and American Palestine Campaign, treasurer and founder of the Hebrew National School, founder and director of the Congregation Glory of Israel treasurer and organizer of Vaad Hakashruth of Eastern parkway, director of Jewish Education Association, treasurer of Talmudical School of Meserole street, director of the Pride of Judea Orphan Home and Brooklyn Home for Incurables.
