The authorities of the state of Hesse announced today that they had granted permission for the establishment of Jewish private schools, functioning as district schools, in Darmstadt, Mainz and Offenbach.

Jewish parents are encouraged, in a ministerial order issued today, to transfer their children from the regular public schools to these Jewish schools, stipulating that the children may attend these schools regardless of the district in which they live.
