Charles Fruton, the Jewish representative of the Cunard Line, announces that, by arrangement with the Union of Orthodox Rabbis of London, a credited rabbi will act as supervisor on board all their liners.

The Cunard Line has always maintained a kosher kitchen. The innovation of an orthodox rabbinical representaive on board ship, it was felt, would appeal to a great many people observant of the dietary laws.

Rabbi Mordecai Erhlich, in charge of the kosher kitchen of the Aquitania, installed new equipment throughout both the meat kitchen and the dairy kitchen. This will also be done on the other boats.
