A “constructive strategy for the upbuilding of good will” rather the need of the moment by Dr. Jonas Simon, president of the American Civic League, at a good will meeting at Public School 77, Bronx, sponsored by the Youth Division of the American Jewish congress. More than 250 residents of the neighborhood attended.
Other speakers included Rev. Edward Charles Russell, pastor of St. Ann’s Church; Dr. Jacob Katz, Jewish chaplain of Sing Sing; Rabbi Julius Price, chaplain of the City Prison, and Dr. Henry E. Hein, principal of James Monroe High School.
