Lazar Segal, local Jewish artist who is now exhibiting his works at the Braggalia Galleries in Rome, is receiving a great deal of attention and praise in the press here.
A number of newspapers upbraided local public opinion for its lack of interest and appreciation of Segal when his works were on view in Brazil but waited, instead, until he had gone abroad and exalted the fame of Brazil by his work.
