According to an announcement by the Viking Press, the sales of Lion Feuchtwanger’s novel, “The Oppermanns,” in the German edition, published in Holland, have exceeded 20,000 despite the fact that the book is banned in Germany.
The sale in the English language is already well over 30,000.
