Plea for Race Harmony at Jersey City Meeting

A plea for all racial groups to work harmoniously for world peace was made here by the Rev. Dr. Alexander Lyons, Brooklyn rabbi, during the course of a public symposium arranged by the Young People’s Fellowships of the city’s churches.

Rabbi Maurice Thorner, of Temple Beth El, this city, offered prayer. Other speakers were Dr. Lyman Harold Hough, dean of Drew Theological Seminary and former Hudson County Prosecutor John Drewen, of this city.
