A paper on “Jewish Social Service in the United States” was read before the Northumberland County Social Service Club, by Rabbi Samuel Horowitz of Temple Beth El here.
Rabbi Horowitz is the first Jewish chaplain of the Laurelton, Pa., State Village, past vice-president of the Sunbury Ministers’ Association, and chairman of the Home Service Division of the Sunbury Red Cross.
