Seaboard Zionist Region activities will continue through the summer and into the early fall when some of the larger campaigns for the United Jewish Appeal will swing into full momentum in this city and in Norfolk.
The initial meeting of the newly chosen administrative committee will be held here Sunday afternoon, with Rabbi Edward L. Israel presiding. The United Jewish Appeal and the forthcoming Zionist convention in Atlantic City will be discussed.
Efforts are being made in the cities comprising the region to strengthen the membership ranks. Reports to regional headquarters also indicate interest on the part of members in the united drive to aid German Jews and to foster their ultimate settlement in Palestine.
