High Commissioner Wauchope today received Rabbi M. Berlin, president of the World Mizrachi, orthodox Zionist organization; Rabbi J. L. Fishman, and formed Deputy Henschel Farbstein, Mizrachi Ieaders, to discuss the restriction of Jewish immigration into Palesting which has aroused a world-wide storm of protest.
The delegation requested that the release of Jews employed as government officials from their duties on the Sabbath and on Jewish holidays be extended to apply to Jews engaged in the Haifa harbor project.
