Calling for a united effort by all Jews in the building of Palestine, the Independent Order Brith Sholom of Baltimore, at the closing session of its thirty-second annual convention last night at the Lord Baltimore Hotel, adopted a resolution indorsing the work of the Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency.
Several additional resolutions received favorable action. One condemns the Hitler regime in Germany and pro-Nazi activities in the United States. Another provides for three annual prized to Baltimore school children for the best original essays on a topic relating to Baltimore or Maryland history.
