Rabbi Reuben J. Magil confirmed sixteen boys and girls in Temple Beth El. Four girls were graduated from the temple high school. The confirmation was the first since Rabbi Magil took charge of the temple.
At Temple Beth David eleven boys and girls were confirmed and seven were graduated from the temple religious school, with Rabbi Harry Silverstone officiating.
Forty-four boys and girls received their diplomas at the graduation exercises of the Jewish Community Religious School at the Jewish Community Building. Rabbi Joseph L. Fink of Temple Beth Zion spoke. Officers of the graduating class were Samuel Eiduson, Adele E. Brodslaw, Phyllis Wesoke, Cecilia E. Unherr and Harold. D. Azeirod, valedictorian.
