The works of a number of Jewish artists are on view here at the biennial International Art exhibition, which opened in the presence of King Victor Emanuel and many diplomatic and parliamentary officials.
The Jewish artists represented include the two Seydenbeutel brothers of Poland; Harry Gottlieb, Morris Kantor, Leon Krol, Louis Ribak and Herman Trunk of the United States; Aba Novack of Hungary; Israel Isaac, David Schulman and Jo Koster of Holland; and Brodski and Isaac and Sara Lebedev of Soviet Russia.
Dr. Beppe Rava, Jewish art patron, established the exhibition’s decorative arts pavilion, which is one of the most beautiful at the Biennial while the American gallery was in charge of Martin Birnbaum, who also arranged some of the American collections exhibited in here in former years.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
