Brooklyn Jewry to Honor Lehman

One thousand leading citizens of Brooklyn, representing many walks of life, are expected to attend the dinner in honor of Governor Herbert H. Lehman to be held at the St. George Hotel June 21, it was announced by the committee preparing the function in the interests of the United Jewish Appeal for German Jewish relief. Proceedings will be broadcast by Station WOR.

Aaron Levy and Albert D. Schanzer are co-chairmen of the dinner committee and Mrs. Nathan L. Goldstein, Mrs. William Lindor and Mrs. Harry H. Tracey are co-chairmen of the women’s section.

FIXTURE DIVISION LUNCHEON

The Lamp and Lighting Fixture Division of the Trades Council of the United Jewish Appeal has been formed with a quota of $5,000, it was announced by Sigmund Thau and M. D. Blitzer, co-chairmen of the newly organized branch of the German Jewish relief drive.
