CZERNOWITZ SCHOOL GRATEFUL

Gratitude for help given “at a time of extraordinary emergency” is expressed in a letter to the Joint Distribution Committee from the officers of the Jewish Workingmen’s School, “Morgenroit,” in Czernowitz, Roumania, for a contribution toward support of the professional day school for carpentry and tailoring, the evening trade school for apprentices, the public library and reading room, the kindergarten and the tea hall in the name of Dr. Jacob Pistiner.
