“To dedicate a synagogue is one of the most important jobs because it is the one thing that sets us apart,” Rabbi Samuel H. Goldenson of Temple Emanuel, said yesterday at dedication ceremonies of the Seaview Hospital Synagogue, West New Brighton, Staten Island.

Other speakers included Mrs. A. Jack Davidson, chairman of the synagogue committee of the Federation of Jewish Women’s organizations, who presided, and Mrs. David E. Goldfarb, president of the Federation. Rabbi Harry S. Lewis, dean of the Jewish Institute of Religion, delivered the invocation.
