Harry A. Ash, former assistant attorney general of Illinois, is one of five men appointed by Mayor Kelly as members of the newly created Chicago housing authority commission, which will serve without compensation and will pass on the expenditure of $25.000.000 in federal funds earmarked for low-rent projects in Chicago. Ash is a Republican.
