Two Jewish students were elected to high offices by the 1937-35 Junior Class of the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry.
Morris S. Wiener, of Brooklyn, was re-elected to the presidency of the class. Before entering the University of Buffalo, he attended Brooklyn College. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High Scholl, Brooklyn, Wiener has been an active member of the Medico-Dental Student Council, a contributor to the “Mediation” (the Medico-Dental monthly publication) and class historian for the “Buffaloing,” University year book.
Irwin M. Fatt, also of Brooklyn, was elected Barethonian representative of the incoming junior class. He previously studied at the University of Florida. He is a graduate of New Utrecht High School, Brooklyn. The election of Fatt automatically gives him vice-presidency of the Barethonian Society for the coming year.
