Central Queens to Inaugurate Relief Drive

With Judge Mitchell May, honorary chairman for Brooklyn, and Nathan Straus Jr., one of the chairmen of the Greater New York drive, as the speakers, the Jewish communities that make up the Central Queens Division will launch their campaign for the United Jewish Appeal for German Jewish relief with a dinner on Wednesday evening at the Jamaica Jewish Center, 150-91 Eighty-seventh Road, Jamaica, L. I.

The officers of the Central Queens Division of the campaign include Benjamin Marvin, chairman; S. Lesser, treasurer; Harry Gertz, chairman of the dinner committee: Mrs. Ada Victor, secretary; I. Aaranson, Martin Alpert, Mrs. Gussie Deutsch, Charles Fay, Mrs. Emil Felberbaum, Dr. M. Fierstein, Charles Goldberg, Samuel Gottesman, J. J. Greenbaum, Miss Jean Greenstein, Miss Jean Jacobs, Louis Kessman, Mordecai Konowitz, Mrs. Edward Maas, Mrs. David Mendoza and Mrs. Gertrude Montel.

Also Mrs. H. November, Sidney Reiss, Mrs. Jennie Ringler, B. Rosenberg, Mrs. B. Rosenberg, Mrs. Lillie Rosenfield, C. M. Schneitkraut, Samuel Schustek, Charles I. Schwat, Mrs. B. Schweig, J. Seide, Mrs. Daniel Warshauer, N. Weidberg, Mrs. Augusto Weil, Mrs. Rose Weis and William Winnik, vice-chairmen.
