Five students of the local Jewish National Folk School received diplomas at graduation exercises held at Madison Junior High School. They were Belle Shapiro, Herbert Resnick, Shepherd Bartnoff, Sadie Berman and Harold Lapidus. Louis Segal, general secretary of the Jewish National Workers’ Alliance, was guest speaker and presented the diplomas.
