Internes at the Notre Dame Hospital here today were out on strike because a Jewish doctor, Sam Rabinovitch, was appointed chief interne for the institution.

The Jewish physician is now the lone worker in the hospital and the medical board of the University of Montreal has issued an ultimatum to the internes to return to their work.
