A decision on the establishment of a legislative assembly for Palestine will be made definitely in London during the visit of High Commissioner Sir Arthur Grenfell Wauchope at the end of July, it was reported here today. The High Commissioner is also expected to take up with the Colonial office projected changes in the Palestine constitution.

The project of a legislative assembly for Palestine in which the Jews, Arabs and English would be represented, has met with the bitter opposition of Palestinian Jewry who regard the measure as calculated to help the government evade many of the conditions of the Palestine mandate.

Jewish leaders have declared in most emphatic language that under no circumstances will they participate in such a legislative assembly.
