Shirt Manufacturers Raise $5,000 for the Relief of Reich Jews

Short manufacturers throughout the city, organized as a special division of the Trades Council of the United Jewish Appeal, have raised more than $5,000 for relief and rehabilitation of the Jews of Germany. Under the leadership of Abraham Liebovitz, associate treasurer of the National United Jewish Appeal and head of the shirt trade group, more than a score of outstanding leaders in the industry have been engaged in soliciting funds for German Jewish relief.
