Hundreds of Rhode Island merchants today were being urged to intensify the boycott against Nazi-made goods in a letter sent by Dr. Ilie Berger, president of the Rhode Island Council of the American Jewish Congress, and President William L. Connolly of the State branch, American Federation of Labor.

Labor and Jewry in Rhode Island have joined hands in the boycott movement. Thousands of residents affiliated with both organizations have been asked to continue boycotting German-made goods until the Nazi menace is eliminated.
