Arabs Scent Anti-jewish Laws in Zion

Serious anti-Jewish legislation may be expected in Palestine in the near future, reports reaching the Arab Executive from London declare. According to the reports a legislative assembly for Palestine is to be proclaimed shortly, despite the bitter opposition of the Jews, and immigration and purchase of land by Jews are to be sharply curtailed.

A sensational feature of the reports is an alleged statement said to have been made to Emir Abdullah of Transjordania who is at present visiting London, by the Pritish Colonial Office that strict laws would soon be introduced in Palestine in regard to Jewish immigration and the sale of land to Jews. “In that way the Arabs need not fear dispossession,” The Emir was allegedly told.
