A plea for open-mindedness, devoid of prejudices, was made by the Rev. Frank Kingdon at the graduation ceremonies of Eastside High School.
Receiving the highest scholarship award of his class was Louis Mintz. The next seven awards were taken by Jews, also, who won nine of the ten scholarship awards in the class.
