Jesse Isidor Straus, American Ambassador to France, arrived in New York with Mrs. Straus yesterday aboard the French liner Ile de France to spend the summer at their country estate at Mt. Kisco, New York. Percy S. Straus, brother of the Ambassador and president of R. H. Macy & Company, was also aboard the ship with his wife.

Others on the passenger list included Leon Baum, financial counsel to the Nicaraguan Legation in Paris; Benjamin Levy, New York perfumer; John Loeb, New York banker, and Philip Schwartz, of Fox Films.
