The campaign against indecent films through inter-faith efforts was hailed by the National Conference of Jews and Christians in an announcement made yesterday as the most powerful and united movement which has ever been undertaken by American religious and lay leaders. Started by Roman Catholics several months ago, the campaign is now being endorsed by major Jewish and Protestant religious bodies throughout the country.
