One of the most ably-directed campaigns for German-Jewish relief ended Thursday night in Scranton, Pa., according to announcement from the local offices of the United Jewish Appeal.
The drive, for $7,800, was headed by I. E. Oppenheim, honorary chairman; A. B. Cohen, chairman; Meyer Davidow, honorary vice-chairman; George Phillips, Isidore Finkelstein and Leon M. |Levy, vice-chairman.
