Jewish Canadian Mayor Takes Part in Opening of New Roosevelt Span

At the centennial celebration here Mayor Aaron Horwitz introduced Lord Bessborough, Governor-General of Canada, who officiated at the opening of the Roosevelt International Bridge from Rooseveltown, N. Y.

A bouquet of flowers was presented to Lady Bessborough by Lillian, the Mayor’s daughter. Charles A. Walsh represented Governor Herbert Lehman at the ceremonies.
