The Latvian government today ordered the permanent closing of a number of subsidiary organizations of the Latvian Bund, the Jewish Socialist organization, including the Peretz Club, the Jewish Peoples House and the Jewish Workers Theatre.

The edict against the Jewish Socialist group is regarded as part and parcel of the government activity against Latvian “Marxists” of all shades.
