At least 15,000 Jewish immigrants entered and settled in Palestine in the first six months of the current year, it was announced today by the Jewish Agency for Palestine. According to the Agency’s calculations, nearly 3,000 of this number were capitalists who brought approximately £6,000,000 into the Holy Land.

This figure, the Agency states, establishes a record for immigration unequalled by any other country in the world during so short a period.
