Three Faiths Move to Purge Movies of Dirt

The creation of a permanent organization to fight obscenity in the motion picture industry and the stage, endorsement of the Legion of Decency, non-partisan organization recently formed by Catholic groups, and the appointment of a committee to confer with movie producers, distributors and exhibitors to point out the seriousness of motion picture contamination, was unanimously decided upon yesterday at a luncheon and meeting at the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 329 West Forty-second street, participated in by representatives of Catholics, Protestants and Jews.
