At a time when Jews are fleeing Germany daily, the Federation of Jewish Communities in Prussia has issued an appeal to all Jewish communities and members to help save Jewish cultural monuments and relics which may be lost as result of the liquidation of certain communities.

Jews have been living for so long a time on German soil that much historical material has been amassed. The Federation asked for photographs of old synagogues, cemeteries, articles of Jewish worship and the like, in order that they may be preserved for posterity.
