Nazi Press Rages Anew with Attacks on Jews

There should be no illusions about any possible improvement in the Jewish position in Germany. Der Angriff, mouthpiece of Propaganda Minister Paul Joseph Goebbels, completely supports this theory.

In today’s issue the Nazi paper features a lengthy anti-Jewish article, sarcastically entitled “The Jews as Pacifists.” Basing the article on the Bible, all Biblical stories in which Jews killed their enemies during the ancient wars were enumerated, and an attempt was made to create an impression that the Jews are merciless to their foes.

PAPERS JOIN ATTACK

Other Nazi anti-Semitic publications such as Fridricus, Wahrheit and Julius Streicher’s Der Stuermer, show no decline in the amount of ferocious anti-Semitic propaganda they carry. All these papers feature bitter anti-Jewish articles on their front pages with banner headlines, inciting the readers against the Jews. The anti – Semitic Nazi papers are prominently displayed on every newssstand in Berlin and throughout the country and attract the attention not only of the Germans, but also of foreigners, who naively believed that as a result of recent events in Germany Jewbaiting would cease and Jews would be left to their own devices for awhile.
