Dr. Kurt Rosenfeld, former Prussian Minister of Justice, and Aneurin Bevan, member of the British Parliament, last night addressed a mass meeting held under the auspices of the German Anti-Fascist League of Brooklyn at the Brooklyn Labor Lyceum, 949 Willoughby avenue. About three hundred persons attended.
Dr. Rosenfeld predicted the collapse of the regime of Adolf Hitler, asserting that the events of June 30, “bloody Saturday,” were the beginning of end for the Nazis who are now governing Germany.
If there is anything that Hitler has succeeded in accomplishing, Dr. Rosenfeld said, it is the creation of a united front among the European nations against the Reich. As a sign of growing dissatisfaction with Nazism, he cited the fact that German students, who formerly supported the deeds of the Third Reich unquestionably, are now making inquiries as to what is going on.
Other speakers were Richard B. Moore, Negro, of the International Labor Defense, and Verna Stams, chairman of the Anti-Fascist Action Committee.
