Marguerite von Kummel, a converted Jewess who came to Palestine a few weeks ago, staying at the Bialik Hotel, committed suicide. She was converted to Judaism last September at the height of Hitler’s anti-Semitic campaign. She was formerly an Evangelist.

It is reported that the dead woman had practically no friends here, and was seeking pupils to instruct on the pianoforte.
