Chancellor Hitler of Germany was denounced as a “murderer and archfoe of labor,” in a resolution adopted yesterday at the closing session of the convention of the Wisconsin State Federation of Labor.
Introduced by Abel Hyzones of Milwaukee, the resolution denounced the Nazi regime, its war on unions and its imprisonment of unionists, liberals, radicals and Jews and all other anti-Fascists of whatever faith. Release of all these political prisoners was demanded.
Hyzones, in introducing the resolution, denounced Hitler as “a ruthless killer whose fire and sword have startled the sensibilities of the civilized world.”
Another resolution adopted condemned the Fascist regime in Italy and warned against the spread of Fascism here in America.
