When Former Mayor David A. Croll, new Minister of Welfare for Ontario Providence, assumed his new post at Callandar, he dismissed 139 of the 140 relief inspectors. But the 140th was retained. He is John McCluskey, who took care of the case of Oliva Dionne, mother of the quintuplets who were born May 28.

“No, sir,” said Minister Croll, when he reached McCluskey’s name. “We can’t let that man go.”
