The Jewish Telegraphic Agency was informed by a high official in diplomatic circles here today that the Foreign Office has instructed Polish diplomatic representatives in London and Jerusalem to take steps toward mitigating the situation of the thirty-six Polish Jewish citizens who were yesterday sentenced by a Haifa court to three months jail terms and subsequent deportation for illegal entry into Palestine.
